Jun. 22nd, 2003 12:30 amI have decided that I would like to read the Harry Potter series. From the start. Now I just need to get them. For some reason, I'd like to have them in hardback too. That's the hard part though, actually getting the books when you have no money. I'd like to read period, and I have a ton of books to read.... packed in boxes at the other house. Argh! I will probably see if I have any here, and if I can't find any, go and dig a couple out. And if I really can't do that, maybe I'll go treat myself to a Charles DeLint paperback. I really like his writing, and I have one or two books of his around here somewhere. Horribly unorganized. Need to call Jackie. karenthecroccy, in talking about her job, has reminded me that I could likely get a job at Lane Bryant. Good place for big women to work, in a plus sized clothing store :) I'll have to start applying there, and perhaps a fashion bug plus if I can find one, the only one I knew about went out of business for no good reason :p (no, really, there wasn't one. The owner bought another, different, store, and decided he only wanted one so the fb+ was closing in two weeks. horrible. but i got lots of cool clothes for cheap. but some fab ladies were suddenly out of work.)
this is a really disjointed entry.
I just started talking about food, and how I want some thai, or indian, or ethiopian food, or sushi, and now I"m hungry. well, not really hungry. but now I want to eat. specifically eat what I was just talking about, but we don't have any of that. so I can't. besides, it's wicked late. but I do have recipes for ethiopian food, and I want to make that sometime soon. There's a couple that i"m still looking for though.
I think now i"ll go look and see if there's a nice sushi place and or ethiopian place in teh city. If they're the same place I will be VERY frightened!
