Apr. 9th, 2003 11:33 pmI haven't seen my atm card for awhile. I finally decide to go to the bank and see what I can do. I figure not much, since my account is based in PA and I'm out of checks for my account. But maybe, just maybe, they'll cash the check from my gramma, even though it is drawn on an out of state bank, because it's only for $30. Maybe.
No dice. I call and have the card deactivated and a new one is on the way. 7 - 10 days. No way to get to what little money I have, since I am out of checks for the account. There is a book, but it managed to get into a box someplace and I can't find it. If I did find it, I could get money from my account. Still can't put any in, or cash the check I have.
Fast forward.
Am looking through the pile of stuff on top of my UPS. What do I find amidst the three CDs there? You guessed it. My now-useless ATM card.
gah.
Why does my radio not love me? It isn't the speaker wiring, that works fine (98.5% of the time, so maybe a slight problem there) with the tape-adapted cd player. But the radio! It refuses to tune to the station half the time, and when it does, half of that is overridden with feedback! Anyone knowledgable about that and willing to take a look? It worked fine until my car went home to get work done, and I know that they disconnected the battery and tested a bunch of stuff, so I figure wires got knocked loose. But I don't know enough about that to check it out.
